Is Storm to Shore Right for You? A Free Preview for Adults Who Grew Up in Chaos

If you grew up in a home that didn't feel safe, steady, or predictable, and you can still feel it in your adult life, this is for you.

Maybe you can't relax, even when nothing is wrong. Maybe you say "I'm fine" before you've even checked. Maybe you keep everyone happy, do everything yourself, and still feel like you're one mistake away from it all falling apart. Maybe you're good at handling a crisis and strangely uneasy when life is calm.

And maybe, right now, there's a voice saying: It wasn't that bad. Other people had it so much worse. I shouldn't need this.

That voice is very common among people who grew up this way. It's often one of the first things the adults who raised you taught you, without ever saying it out loud: that your feelings were too much, your needs could wait, and whatever happened wasn't worth talking about.

You don't need a dramatic story to deserve healing. If you didn't get the steadiness, safety, or attention you needed as a child, what you're carrying is real, and it deserves care.

That's why I created Storm to Shore, a 35-session inner child hypnosis journey for adults who grew up in the storm and are ready to stop living there. Before you decide whether it's right for you, there's a free preview session called Before the Crossing. It walks you through exactly what the journey is, who it's for, and how to take care of yourself along the way.

Who Storm to Shore Is For

Storm to Shore is for adults who grew up with:

  • Addiction in the home

  • Mental illness that shaped the mood of the house

  • Constant conflict, or a tense silence that felt worse

  • Divorce, and being caught in the middle

  • Rigid or controlling rules, where love felt conditional

  • Emotional neglect: you were cared for, but not truly seen

If you're always on guard, quick to criticize yourself, slow to ask for help, or strangely uneasy when life is calm, you're not broken. These are survival skills that worked in the home you grew up in. They just don't fit the life you're living now.

The Journey from Storm to Shore

The program moves through seven stages, five sessions each. It starts with your shakiest foundations and builds steadily toward strength:

  1. Weathering the Storm: feel safe in your body, name your feelings, and come back from overwhelm

  2. The Reflection: let go of "not enough," the inner critic, shame, and the masks built on top of them

  3. Staying Afloat: retire the survival habits: people-pleasing, doing it all alone, needing chaos

  4. Where the Storm Began: understand the family roles and rules that shaped you, without blame

  5. When the Rain Falls: make room for anger and grief, then give yourself what you needed all along

  6. True North: know your needs, rest without earning it, hold your boundaries, and speak your truth

  7. Reaching Shore: safe connection, being fully yourself, and passing on calmer waters

How It Works

You receive one new session each week, with pause weeks built in so the deeper stages have room to settle. Each session comes with workbook pages to complete before and after you listen, plus a simple daily practice for real life. From day one, you'll also have Return to Shore, a five-minute grounding session for moments when things feel like too much. If you'd like more personal support along the way, one-on-one integration sessions are available too.

Storm to Shore is for adults 18 and older, and it's not a substitute for therapy or medical care. Many people use it alongside working with a therapist. The free preview covers who should check with a professional before starting, and what to expect along the way.
